Last updated 11 September 2026.
This policy can change.
We may update it at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion, and a change takes effect as soon as it appears here. We do not undertake to notify you. If this policy matters to you, check back on your own initiative before relying on it.
Who we are
Clear Mountain Marketing is a search and content marketing consultancy based in Colorado, United States. You can reach us at info@clearmountainmarketing.com.
What this website collects
This website uses analytics cookies, described below. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising.
The contact form on this site is a Google Form, embedded from Google. When you submit it, the name, email address, company, website and message you enter go directly to Google rather than to us first. Google stores the response in an account belonging to us, notifies us that it arrived, and sends you a copy of your response, which is the confirmation you receive.
Because the form is loaded from Google, Google can see that you visited the page it appears on, and your use of it is also covered by their own privacy terms. We do not pass your enquiry to anyone else and we do not use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Third-party requests
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and a property-specific cookie) and sends usage data to Google, including a truncated IP address. We use it to see which pages are read and how people arrive, not to identify individuals. Google's handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policy.
Aside from that, the site loads no scripts, fonts, analytics or embeds from any third party. Typefaces are served from this domain.
Our web host receives standard server request information as a normal part of delivering the site.
Information you send us directly
If you email us or become a client, we hold the information you provide in order to correspond with you and to do the work. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, or where the law requires it.
Client data
During an engagement we are often granted access to analytics, advertising, and search accounts belonging to our clients. That access is granted to us rather than transferred. Clients retain ownership. We do not use one client's data on behalf of another, and we do not publish client performance data without written approval.
How long we keep things
Correspondence and client records are kept for as long as needed for the working relationship and for legitimate business and legal reasons afterwards.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the Colorado Privacy Act, other United States state privacy laws, or the GDPR.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
